Boita Review is a review and sign-off tool for any file — PDFs, CAD drawings, images, imaging and video — with notes, approvals and version compare on the delivery page, so reviewers decide without downloading and without an account — part of Boita, the large-file transfer workspace.
Reviewers page a PDF, zoom a drawing or a still, play a proxy of a video, and leave notes and drawings without downloading anything. Give each person a role, collect per-file approvals with reminders, compare versions, and export every note to a CSV — or, for video, straight into the edit suite.
Plans: Comments and threads are on every plan. Roles, approvals, drawings, version compare, presentation mode, the player and exports come with Scale and Enterprise.

Send a link with roles
Name each recipient a viewer, a reviewer or an approver. Everyone else who opens the plain link keeps the ordinary share-page rules.

They review in the browser
PDFs page; images and exported drawings zoom and pan; video and audio play from a proxy rendered on our servers. A note starts at the current page, region or frame, with a pen, arrow or box if words are not enough.

Decisions land on the receipt
Approve or Request changes per file and per version. Approvers with files still pending are reminded twice; every decision names who made it and lands on the receipt and in your activity feed.

Press C to start a note at the current page, region or frame; draw with a pen, an arrow or a box in five colours. Notes carry the page or the timecode and show up in the thread.

J/K/L shuttle, single-frame stepping, HH:MM:SS:FF timecode read at the file’s real frame rate, and a waveform under the scrubber with a marker for every timecoded note.

Replies one level deep, timecodes typed as 00:12.400 or 00:00:12:10, and @mentions of teammates that recipients never see.

Which tool lets a client review PDFs and CAD drawings and sign off without downloading?

Do reviewers need an account or a licence?
No. Reviewers open the delivery link; roles are attached to the invited recipient. Comments and threads are on every plan; roles, approvals, drawings, version compare and exports are on Scale and Enterprise.
Does the recipient need an account to review?
No. They open their personal link from the invitation (or verify their email with a code) and everything they do is attributed to them on the receipt. Nothing to install.
Is the original ever served to the browser?
No. The player, the image viewer and the PDF viewer all work from proxies rendered on our servers. Downloads are separate and can be switched off with a view-only link.
Is review only for video?
No. PDFs (proofs, drawings, reports), stills, exported CAD views and layered artwork, imaging exports and audio get the same notes, drawings and approvals; video adds the frame-accurate player. Anything else is approved from its row without a viewer.
What if the file is replaced after approval?
Decisions are per version. A replaced file goes back to Pending review, the previous decision stays on the previous version, and version compare shows both.
