What shipped, and when.

• Resume is a desktop-app feature. In the desktop app, an interrupted upload or download picks up exactly where it stopped. From a browser — including share links and upload links — or from the phone app, an interrupted transfer starts again from the beginning; files that had already finished stay finished. For large files, use the desktop app.
• The web app, the phone app and the sign-up pages now say this where it matters: the large-upload prompt, the note on an incomplete upload, a failed browser transfer, and the phone’s retry button, which now reads "Start again".

• Thumbnails work. Photos, PDFs and video all get a preview in the file list now — none of them did before, because the component that fetches a file for rendering could not write where it needed to and gave up without saying so. Nothing about your files changed; they simply have pictures now.
• The search index keeps up. A folder deleted while the index was being rebuilt could leave the rebuild stuck on it, so a workspace could go days without its search catching up while still saying it was up to date. It now skips what is gone, keeps what it could not read, and backs off rather than retrying the same thing for ever.
• A failed upload now says what it could not send, and the record keeps that count — so a delivery that was partly sent is never filed as complete. Empty files are named and held back before an upload starts rather than failing silently in the middle.
• A delivery link that has run out of downloads now says so at the moment someone asks for it, instead of waiting for a transfer to finish first. A link that is still busy says that instead, with how long to wait.
• Plainer answers when something is wrong: the file list no longer prints an engine error code above a folder it wrongly called empty, an unreachable server says what is true rather than naming the part that failed, and signing in no longer sits on "Please wait…" for ever when it cannot reach us.

• You can delete your account yourself, from the app or the web, without asking us. It removes your sign-in, your devices, your two-factor setup and your personal details straight away. A workspace only you belong to closes with it; one other people are working in has to be handed over first, so nobody loses their files because a colleague left. Invoices already issued are kept, because tax law requires it — boita.io/delete-account says exactly what stays and why.
• Sending from the phone now works without the desktop app: pick photos, videos or files and they go to your workspace over the standard path. Large jobs still belong on a computer, where the fast path is, and the app says so rather than pretending otherwise.

• A full security review before we open the doors: two-factor can no longer be bypassed, a company domain has to be proven by DNS before it can be pointed at your identity provider, sign-in is rate-limited, and twenty-five smaller findings are fixed. The report is dated and on request.
• Every upload is now checked after it lands against what was approved: anything unexpected is quarantined and the workspace owner told, so a file that was never announced can never sit quietly in your storage.
• A performance pass on the parts that carry every request: the busiest database queries are twenty times faster, long lists load quicker, and the app stops polling in the background when its tab is hidden.
• boita.io is faster and no longer asks Google for its fonts — half the font weight is gone and a deploy depends on nothing outside our own build.
• Large-file speed mode stays off. We tested six ways to send one huge file across parallel sessions without weakening encryption at rest, and none of them holds: the transfer engine cannot do both at once. Many files, folders and datasets already run many times faster, and a single file still moves at the full plan rate with every byte verified.

• The app shell is reorganised: four groups in the sidebar (Share, Automate, Workspace, Account), a collapsible icon rail, ⌘K to jump anywhere or search files, full-width tables, and three controls instead of nine on Files. Members is now Members plus a Governance page with a clearly marked danger zone; transfer settings have their own page; a pill in the top bar shows running transfers from anywhere.
• First-day flow: a three-step getting-started checklist, a "Send this folder" path that hands over to the desktop app or the browser, a file picker on the share form, link created = link copied, portals with a live preview and a QR code, and two equal download paths on every download page (install once at full speed, or download now in the browser at standard speed — on every plan).
• Every confirmation is now a proper dialog that says what will happen (65 browser pop-ups replaced), one consistent plan-gate line under every gated control, one date format, dark-mode contrast fixed, and one vocabulary: share link, download page, delivery receipt, member.
• Multi-session transfers are now as fast as advertised inside a single transfer: the engine divides a transfer's target rate across its sessions, so a multi-session upload had been capped at one session's rate in total. Large-file speed mode is switched off again for now: our own verification found a file split across sessions unreadable back through encryption at rest, so it stays off until that is solved.
• Create an account or sign in with Google (Microsoft and Apple follow as soon as they are registered). Invited teammates land in the workspace that invited them; abandoned transfers leave the running count on their own; the sessions list names your device.
• The Studio plan is now called Scale — same price, same limits, only the name. WhatsApp messages (codes, receipts, reminders, comments) now go out from Boita's own number; Google Drive and Dropbox connect today.
• boita.io: real product screens, a one-sentence definition on every product, solution and use-case page, structured data and a machine-readable catalogue (products.json, llms.txt) so AI assistants answer "which tool does X" with the right Boita page; the footer and hero were reworked; security.txt published.

• The Studio plan is now called Scale — same price, same limits, only the name.
• Large-file speed mode (Scale and above) was introduced — and switched off the next day after our own verification found the split file unreadable through encryption at rest; it returns once that is solved.
• When a transfer server is at capacity, transfers wait a moment and retry instead of failing: the API keeps every server under its session budget, the app and CLI retry on their own, and staff can size the budget per server. The deadline lane is a Scale-and-above feature.
• Published load tests: 40 Mbps per session over 10 000 small files, 791 Mbps up and 847 Mbps down from one machine with 20 sessions, 120 sessions from ten machines with zero failures, a 20 GB file resumed after an interruption with matching checksums, two hours of continuous transfers without a fault — numbers and method on the Trust page.
• Two of the common personal cloud drives connect today; the other two follow. Teammates who sign up from an invitation now land in the workspace that invited them; pages stop waiting on the transfer engine after three seconds and offer the real choices; watch folders gain presets for NAS backups, build output, instrument output and any folder; sign-in errors read as sentences; abandoned transfers leave the running count on their own; the sessions list names your browser, phone or desktop app; recent activity shows names rather than ids.
• Mobile 1.2.0: tap any transfer for its receipt, counts refresh when you return to a screen, and "What's new" can be reopened from More. The command line retries a session that fails while starting, honours an absolute download folder, and takes --speed.
• boita.io shows real screens from the product, carries its own social-preview image per page, is English-only, and passed a full layout and accessibility pass at every width; a security.txt is published.

• Connect your own object storage — S3-compatible, Google Cloud Storage and Azure Blob — to import, deliver and keep folders in continuous sync; unchanged objects are never copied twice and deletes stay opt-in with a guard.
• Boita as an SFTP endpoint (Pro and up): give a tool that only speaks SFTP a per-workspace login (password or SSH key) and its files land straight in the workspace, with every session audited.
• The agent now mirrors folders on a schedule with `boita sync` — two-way with conflict copies, a delete guard and bandwidth windows — ships as a Docker image and Helm chart, comes as Synology and QNAP packages, and the new Agents page shows every server, container and NAS with a "Sync now" button. Sessions that fail while starting on a busy server are retried on their own.
• Partner programme: refer customers and earn 20% of what they pay for 12 months, paid monthly after each payment clears; resellers run customer workspaces at 15% below list — apply at boita.io/partners.
• Desktop 1.4.0 adds a Windows MSI for IT deployment (Intune, SCCM, GPO), with documented silent installs for both installers.
• boita.io now speaks to everyone who moves a lot of data: product pages for Review, Automations, Projects, Enterprise, Integrations, Mobile, Insights and India, six new non-media use cases, a transfer planner, an API reference and Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi landings.
• Storage quota checks now count uploads that have been started but not landed yet, so a burst of parallel uploads cannot slip past the limit.

• Slack and Microsoft Teams post deliveries, comments, approvals, portal uploads and quarantines to your channel, unfurl delivery links and take /boita send — plus Zapier, Make and n8n integrations on the new REST-hook API.
• Deliver a share or any files straight into the cloud drive your client already uses — the four common ones are supported (also as an automation action), and a Premiere Pro panel to deliver renders, jump to reviewers’ timecoded notes and import from the workspace.
• Pay with UPI Autopay, a card, or once for a month; every charge comes with a GST tax invoice (credit notes for refunds). WhatsApp reminders, download receipts and sign-in codes switch on as soon as the channel is approved.
• Boita for iPhone and Android: search with saved searches, favourites and recents, automations, archives, a health check, sessions and integrations. Self-managed transfer nodes can be stood up in your own AWS account with our Terraform module.
• A security review across everything shipped this week: embargoed deliveries stay fully closed, watermarks render correctly for every name, archives never remove anything they did not copy, and directory-managed accounts cannot be re-addressed outside the organisation.

• Review media without downloading it: a frame-accurate player with timecoded notes and drawings on the delivery page, image and PDF mark-up, version compare (side-by-side or wipe) and a full-screen presentation mode. Scale and above.
• Move, copy and rename hundreds of files at once — sequence-aware, previewed, verified before anything is deleted — plus favourites, pinned folders, recents and copyable deep links. Start a workspace from a Post house, Agency or Broadcaster template; see all your workspaces on one page; ask a teammate for files in a folder and pin a note to it.
• Desktop: a drag-and-drop send window (⌘⇧B), a live tray with progress and pause/resume, "Send with Boita" in Finder and Explorer, and Deliver-from-Resolve / Avid watch-folder presets that send finished renders on their own.
• Archive tiers: move folders to cold storage with a manifest and restore on demand (Scale and above; Enterprise adds retention rules). Reviewers approve and comment from the phone; review analytics on Insights.
• Enterprise: provision members and groups from Okta or Entra over SCIM, scan every arriving file for malware with automatic quarantine, ask your own DLP service before links are created, produce legal-hold export packages, and an invisible per-recipient mark on video deliveries with a "who leaked this?" tool.

• Insights (Pro and above): which deliveries get opened and how fast, your busiest clients and senders, storage growth and transfer speed — and a branded per-client delivery report as PDF, on demand or emailed monthly.
• Health page: plain-English checks of everything your workspace depends on, with remedies and a link to the status page.
• Enterprise admin: see and sign out any device, give each admin only the areas they need, export or stream the audit log to your SIEM, restrict access to approved networks and computers.
• Build on Boita: scoped API keys, an OpenAPI description with TypeScript and Python SDKs, a webhook console with test and retry, sandbox workspaces, and delivery pages and upload portals you can embed on your own site.
• A one-question feedback prompt after a download and after your tenth link — thank you for answering.

• Review links: give each recipient a role, approve or request changes per file from the delivery page (with reminders for approvers), reply in threads with @mentions and timecodes, and export comments to CSV or edit-suite markers. Scale and above.
• Projects group a client job’s share links, upload portals and deliveries under one folder — with crew, dates and status — on the web and the phone.
• Search: find files by name, tag, codec, resolution, size, date or your own custom fields, and save the searches you run every week.
• Automations: rules that email, post to Slack, tag or turn a landed folder into a delivery link the moment files arrive. Scale and above.
• Email-in: mail attachments straight into your workspace at your own email-in address. Pro and above.
• Add embargo openings and upload deadlines to your calendar with one click.

• Watermarked deliveries: tick Watermark on a link and every preview, video and image a recipient sees or downloads carries their name and your studio — rendered once per recipient, gone when the link ends. Scale and above.
• WhatsApp deliveries: add recipients by WhatsApp number, send each their personal link with one tap (message filled in), and their WhatsApp replies land as comments on the delivery — with your name on the acknowledgement.
• Deliveries to you: recipients type their email once at app.boita.io/me and see every live delivery sent to them, from any studio, with the personal link and how long each has left. Verified-email deliveries open with one tap for 30 days on that browser.
• Delivery emails from your own domain: delivery@mail.yourstudio.com, signed for your domain, with replies going to whoever sent the delivery. Add the DNS records shown under Share links → Your brand, press Verify, send yourself a test. Scale and above.
• Delivery pages are landing pages: a cover from the first preview, a sender card, and a proper card when the link is pasted into WhatsApp, Slack or iMessage. Recipients can pick only the files they need.
• Media details on every video and audio file — codec, resolution, frame rate, duration, audio layout — and delivery specs per portal or folder that flag off-spec files on arrival.
• Request files with a form: required fields and dropdowns, file type and naming rules, a deadline with invited uploaders, a 48 h reminder and an overdue nudge.
• Embargoed links with a countdown, view-only deliveries, a Got it / Thanks / Something is wrong button for recipients, bulk extend, re-notify and revoke, share defaults and templates, an address book with groups, and a PDF delivery note.

• Speed receipts: every finished transfer says how big, how long and how much faster than a typical upload — on receipts, share pages, the dashboard, emails, the desktop app and the phone.
• Your connection: a speed test in the desktop app and on the phone, and a plain explanation of which path your files take (fast path or HTTPS) and why. Failed transfers can be retried over HTTPS.
• Bandwidth analytics under Storage: daily volume, peak rates, busiest hours, by client and by person, and how much of your plan you are leaving unused.
• Priority lanes: send a delivery as Deadline (other transfers make room) or Background (stays out of the way). Send to several destinations at once with Also deliver to.
• Integrity report on every delivery receipt: per-file checksums, verified downloads, and a CSV verification report. Choose SHA-256 or SHA-512 per workspace.
