What shipped, and when.

Every release, in the words we would use to a customer. The same list shows up as What\u2019s new inside the apps. Machine-readable copy at /changelog.json.

  1. Speed you can quote, and a status page you can trust

    • Speed receipts: every finished transfer says how big, how long and how much faster than a typical upload — on receipts, share pages, the dashboard, emails, the desktop app and the phone.
    • Your connection: a speed test in the desktop app and on the phone, and a plain explanation of which path your files take (fast path or HTTPS) and why. Failed transfers can be retried over HTTPS.
    • Bandwidth analytics under Storage: daily volume, peak rates, busiest hours, by client and by person, and how much of your plan you are leaving unused.
    • Priority lanes: send a delivery as Deadline (other transfers make room) or Background (stays out of the way). Send to several destinations at once with Also deliver to.
    • Integrity report on every delivery receipt: per-file checksums, verified downloads, and a CSV verification report. Choose SHA-256 or SHA-512 per workspace.
    • Recipients can send files back from any delivery page, straight into a Replies folder in your workspace.
    • New workspaces start with sample files so the first link takes a minute.
    • status.boita.io: live health of every component, incident announcements, and an uptime SLA with automatic credits for Studio and Enterprise.
    • Forgot password and change password, on the web and in the app. Every other session ends when you change it.
    • boita, a command-line client for scripts and render pipelines, ships with the Linux agent.

  2. Custom domains, the Linux agent, phone transfers

    • Share pages and portals on your own domain (Studio and above), with certificates issued automatically.
    • A headless Linux agent for servers, NAS and render nodes: watch folders up and down, no window needed.
    • Send from your phone: documents, photos and videos upload from the app; deliveries download to the phone.
    • Browser transfers without any install for recipients and portal uploaders.
    • Branded delivery pages, comments on deliveries, recipient verification by email code, encrypted delivery with a passphrase, auto-delivery to your own S3 bucket or server, numbered file sets shown as one row, download watch folders on the desktop.

  3. Receipts, API, portals with review, and more

    • Delivery receipts with a PDF export, a public API with keys and signed webhooks, upload portals with review, folder permissions per member and group, activity feed and daily digest, single sign-on and legal hold for Enterprise, passkeys, bandwidth windows, previews and versions, cloud import from S3, Drive and Dropbox, support tiers by plan.
